What struck me today was goals. Each goal I set, or one of my TEAM sets they do so in a way that it isn't easily achievable. We want to push ourselves, reach for the stars. Each time we hit goal, I don't get from them, can we rest now; no, what I get from them is What can we strive for now! What's the next goal? I love that and I love them.
So we will continue to try and bring you quality products along with quality marketing. We have had our growing pains along the way, but we learn from each mistake and make sure that we are not making it again. With less than two weeks of the Facebook and author website being online, we hit 500 likes today. I could have screamed and done a cart wheel, but I am sure everyone involved is thankful I didn't. Your support of me and my writing is something I don't take lightly. I am constantly trying to improve myself, my style, technique and purpose. I want you to not only like my characters, but I want you to love them. Of course, some you will love to hate and that is fine too; they were written for that purpose.
I have set a goal for myself, maybe a steep one, but it is a goal and can be tweaked if needed. But that goal is to write a minimum of 3 books a year. I have so many on my list to write about, so topics are not an issue. The issue is finding the to time to sit down and write when you also work a full time job. But once again, it is a goal and I find a way to make it happen because I love writing. I am going to be taking a creative writing course this winter with a very talented instructor and I am excited about it. What I will learn from her will come back to you all two fold. She will only help propel my writing in a magnificent direction.
So as I close this blog for the night. I want you to think about your goals, and your dreams (the ones you are living now and the ones you have set off to the side). What are you willing to do to make those dreams happen?
Have a peaceful night.
