I am sitting here after what feels like an evening of storm chasing, looking for that perfect twister. But it wasn't a twister at all we were looking for, it was the perfect angle. We ran from street to street, grabbing the camera and tripod, running up and down bridges and parking garages in downtown Tulsa to find that perfect shot of the Super Moon tonight. I even tried to find some stairs on the sides of the old building hoping they would lead me to the roof top. But we ended up in just the right spot and feel like we got just the right picture. Time will tell and so will you, because we took it for you, the future reader of Blue Moon.
It feels somewhat surreal this evening. What started off the spark of inspiration for Blue Moon was the actual Blue Moon which happened one year ago on August 20, 2013. It seems fitting that August 10,2014 brings us the Super Moon which has also sparked an idea in my brain for a future book.
I feel fortunate and quite blessed each time this amazing universe of ours bares something so beautiful to us. The moon, especially the full ones, come with such awe and mystery surrounding it, so much folklore, that it is a writers dream. So bare with me as I take you on this journey with me, into my world of fantasy and the supernatural. I hope you like the moon because you will be hearing and seeing a lot more of it over the coming years.
Have a peaceful night!
