He wasn't sure when they started to arrive, but he was getting word some of the higher ranking Balashon members had arrived in Tulsa. This was not truly unexpected after all there is a major undertaking about to happen, not to mention this was something they have been waiting to happen for three thousand years. When their master Bastiquil had been on this earth previously, his time here was cut way too short. Victor would make sure that didn't happen again. The master would have free reign over this earth before it was all said and done. But as with all things of this grand scale, it would take time and patience.

BLUE MOON - Chapter 45, Excerpt 1

As they were feasting and taking refuge for the night in one of their conquered villages, Zamaranum was curious why Bastiquil had not joined the men in their victory celebration. He began looking for him and it didn't take long to find him. Bastiquil was in the bathing room of the nicest home they could find in the village. It was the home of a wealthy trader, who had long lived as one of the richest and most powerful men in the village. When Zamaranum walked into the bathing room, he saw the owner of this house was sprawled out; hanging to the wall by knives forcefully shoved through the skin and bones of his hands and feet and were securely fastened to the stone walls.

BLUE MOON - Chapter 44, Excerpt 1

The palace being built was enormous, a palace worthy of a king, pharaoh, or a leader. It was made from the best stone and marble of the day. There were statutes being commissioned, artwork being made and brought in, gold and silver were being brought in to be stored in the depths of the palace. Bastiquil was a feared tyrant ruler and Demetri could tell this wasn't sitting well with Zamaranum. He felt a jealousy, a wanting, and a hunger for power, for all Bastiquil acquired, but he kept this to himself, pondering what to do and when to act on it.

Bastiquil was telling Zamaranum he was planning a raid, an attack on the neighboring cities and countries, he wanted more and more and didn't want to stop until he conquered every known nation. He wanted to rule the known world and then take on the unknown. He wanted it all, and he wanted Zamaranum by his side. He wanted to conquer this together, to be one force, fighting and killing everyone who would dare oppose them. They would either bow down at his feet or perish.

BLUE MOON - Chapter 43, Excerpt 1

He could have easily grabbed her when she came into the house and had already been back to the mansion with her, but Victor liked to stalk his prey, he liked to watch them, especially when they were so beautiful and had no clue he was doing it. He loved the show; she was rubbing the soap all over her body, into every crevice. As she rinsed the soap off of her, it appeared like she was posing for a shower commercial. She was stretching slightly in the shower, more than likely from the warmth of the water loosening up her muscles. Smart girl, she was going to need to be fully stretched out for what was in store for her.

As Demetri started he began by focusing on clearing his mind, concentrating on his breathing, thinking about nothing more than taking a breath in and letting it back out. He would take deep breaths in, concentrating on a more diaphragmatic breathing, so his diaphragm was expanding and not his rib cage so it allowed for deeper breaths in. This allowed for him to reach a more relaxed state of mind and body quicker. As he begins to feel his body slipping deeper and deeper, he began to picture his soul, the essence of himself, the light of his being. He pictured it as a white light, one ever present and bright. Trying to keep it simple, he wanted to imagine his soul as a round, ball of white light and he is attempting to make the white light find its past memories, the memories of not just this body it inhabited now, but the bodies it inhabited over many lifetimes.

BLUE MOON - Chapter 42, Excerpt 2

What Demetri was witnessing was not easy to see for him to watch and experience. Knowing one had bad thoughts at times was one thing, but knowing at one point in time your soul had been a killing machine, one had laid waste to many cities and people. Demetri did not know it at this moment due to being deep inside of his meditative trance, but a tear was rolling down the side of his face. The knowledge and burden of what he was witnessing within these visions would haunt him till his dying day.

Alex decided he needed to see his mother, to hear her voice, to let it ground him, bring him back to reality. But a small piece of the reality was he wanted a chance to say goodbye. This may be the last time he would be able to see her, and if something were to happen to him next week, he didn’t want her to think he just disappeared without a clue, without coming to see her first. He wasn’t sure what he would say to her or if she would even understand him, but he had to try.

Demetri looked up at her and for the first time in a long time she wasn’t sure what he was thinking. She could usually judge by his expressions, but he just looked blank to her. “G people are dying, either for Alex or myself or both; of course we have to stop this at all costs, but we still don’t know who the other major stakeholders are in this game, we are still looking for a lead as to who is in charge of this master plan,”

“Well, I think we all know we have to try and find out who this mystery masked man is and I fear he isn’t a Good Samaritan either. I fear he is one of the key players you just referred to, but to what end game he is playing towards I can only imagine?” Gina stated.

BLUE MOON - Chapter 40, Excerpt 1

Alex had thought about his answer before he began to speak. He wanted to be completely honest with Demetri and to Gina, but he knew he had to win over Demetri so he would help him and because he meant so much to Gina. Getting up from the chair he was sitting in at the table, Alex began to unbutton his shirt which got inquisitive, yet puzzled looks from both Gina and Demetri. As he walked up to Demetri, he opened up his shirt to show the face of the troll on his stomach.

“Look at the face on this troll. Look closely. Now look into the pupil of its eye. Can you see the symbol just by looking at it?” Alex asked Demetri trying to prove a point.

BLUE MOON - Chapter 39, Excerpt 2

Demetri was looking at the other information she had on the table as well. She printed out information about the upcoming blue moon, which turns out will be a multiple of different types of moons, making it one of the rarest of its kind, not seen for many centuries again. If there ever was going to be a magical convergence of astrological importance, this was it. This would be the time to attempt to bring someone into this world that had long been gone. And if he were a demon, Demetri could only guess he would be a powerful one, especially if he had the ability to communicate with Alex and himself when he wasn't even a part of this realm yet. This wasn't sounding like it was going to be a fun week. He wished Aldrik was here to help him with this.
